OLIVET, Mich. – The Adrian College men's volleyball earned its first win of the season in a 3-0 sweep of host Olivet at Saturday's tri-match. The Bulldogs fell 3-1 in their first game against Trinity.

• Eduardo Aleman led Adrian with nine kills and three digs

• Avery Johnson tallied eight kills, seven digs and had one service ace

• Joseph Deets paced the Bulldog attack with 19 assists, he also contributed three kills and four digs

• Javes Escalera recorded 12 assists and six digs for the first game

TRINITY

• Ben Tocila led Trinity in kills (14), service aces (10) and digs (14)

• Eddie Binion tallied 12 kills and four digs

• Will Shoemaker recorded 39 assists for the Troll attack

• Johnson led the Bulldog attack with 12 kills. He also contributed six digs and one service ace

• Nyles Symonette recorded 10 kills, one dig and one solo block

• Adrian's offense was paced by Javes Escalera with 37 assists and six digs

• Aleman led defensively with eight digs

• Luke DeWitt led with 11 kills, one service ace and four digs

• Rhett Pringle tallied 10 kills and six digs

• Talen Schallhorn recorded 23 assists to pace the Comets attack

• Jason Barbosa led defensively with 12 digs
