ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College men's soccer team rolled to a 6-0 victory over Bluffton on Thursday night at Docking Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

First Half: Adrian 4, Bluffton 0

• Christ Stanhope scored in the 11th minute of the game by heading the ball into passed Bluffton goalkeeper Matt Hardman-Zimmerman from teammate Zachary Roller's corner kick.

• Tad Davis doubled the Bulldog's score bending his shot into the top right of the net in the 26th minute.

• Stanhope scored his second goal in the 39th minute after his first shot is saved by Hardman-Zimmerman and he heads the ball of the deflection into the net.

• Kyle Boggs added to the lead, scoring of another rebound in the final minute of the half

Second Half: Adrian 6, Bluffton 0

• Brandon Katona scored first for Adrian 7:12 into the second half off the assist from Roller, his second assist of the game.

• Freshman Dayton Rush put the ball into the Bluffton net for the final time of the night off a perfect bicycle pass from teammate Zach Combs to put the game away 6-0 in favor of the Bulldogs

TOP DOGS

• Stanhope scored two goals on three shots (two on goal)

• Davis (three shots, two on goal), Katona (four shots, three on goal), Rush (one shot, one on goal) and Boggs (one shot, one on goal) each added a goal

• Roller led Adrian with two assists, Combs had the other

• The Bulldog defense didn't allow Bluffton to get a single shot on goal to help freshman goalkeeper Spencer Brown to earn his first shutout of his career
