HANCOCK, Mich. - Sydney Smith, Sarah Shureb, and Kaylyn Schroka each had two goals and two assists to propel the Bulldogs to an 11-1 win on the road against Finlandia.

HOW IT HAPPENED

First Period: Adrian 5, Finlandia 1

• Sarah Shureb, assisted by Krisit Zink, scored the first of two goals in the first two minutes of the game.

• Courtney Tyll put Adrian up 2-0 with just under two and a half minutes off the clock in the opening period.

• Brooke Lupi, Shelly Czarnowcza, and Kaylyn Schroka also added goals for the Bulldogs to bring the score to 5-0 with 8:49 remaining.

• Sierra Meiners scored the lone goal for Finlandia at the 14:31 mark of the first period.

• Adrian finished the period with 17 shots on goal; the Lions recorded six.

Second Period: Adrian 9, Finlandia 1

• Sydney Smith, Hannah Dalrymple, Shureb, and Taylor Henthorne scored in the second period.

• The teams would enter the second period with the score sitting at 9-1 in favor of Adrian.

• Similar to the first period, Adrian had a 17-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Third Period: Adrian 11, Finlandia 1

• Smith and Schroka scored their second goals of the game in the final period.

• The Bulldogs outshot the Lions 16-4 in the third period (50-13 for the whole game).

• Finlandia was 0-2 on power plays, the Bulldogs were 0-1.

• Smith, Schroka, and Shureb all went 2,2 in the game.

• Kelly O'Sullivan had a game-high three assists.

• Brooke Lupi scored one goal and tallied two assists for the Bulldogs in the winning effort.

THE OPPOSITION

• Sierra Meiners scored the only point for Finlandia on an unassisted goal in the first period.
