WESTLAND, Mich.--The nationally ranked Adrian College women's bowling team posted a pair of top-15 finishes at the American-Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference Tournament held here over the weekend at Westland Bowl.
During Saturday's third AHIBC Tournament, the Bulldogs knocked down 6,424 total pins for seventh place out of 23 teams. The team had four top-20 individual placers led by freshman Jordyn Stone (T-14th, 184.6), junior Jennifer Kelly (T-14th, 184.6), sophomore Marissa Land (16th, 184.4) and senior Brittney Antonelli (19th, 181.8).
Sunday's highlights were two top-25 showings with Antonelli in 16th place, averaging 193.5 for four games, and Kelly in 24th while averaging 189.25. As a team, the Bulldogs had 6,182 pins for 12th of 21 teams.
After an idle week, Adrian hits the lanes again on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 11-12, at the Hoosier Invitational contested at the Western Bowl in Indianapolis, Ind.
