Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's hockey team were crowned the 2017 Bulldog Bowl Champions after a 3-0 shutout victory over the No. 4 ranked Falcons of Wisconsin-River Falls. Jacqueline White scored the game-winning goal in the second period on the power play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bulldogs outshot the Falcons in the first period, 11-8, but neither team was able to put the puck into the net in the opening 20 minutes.
Jacqueline White put Adrian ahead 1-0 in the second period, scoring on a power play off assists from Kelly O'Sullivan and Kristi Zink. The score would remain 1-0 through the second intermission.
Olivia Fox scored an unassisted goal just 3:20 into the third period to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 cushion. Rose Krasofsky put the game away at the 13:56 mark of the third when she scored off an assist from Maggie Mitter.
Adrian outshot River Falls 33-22 for the game. The Bulldogs were 1-for-2 on the power play; the Falcons were 0-for-1.

• White, Fox, and Krasofsky were the scorers for Adrian.
• O'Sullivan, Zink, and Mitter tallied assists for the Bulldogs.
• Kate Turner (W, 2-0) made 22 saves to complete her second shutout of the young season.
THE OPPOSITION
• Sam Young had a team-high five shots on goal in the losing effort.
• Hailey Herdine tallied four shots on goal for the Falcons.
• Tatyana Delaittre (L, 0-1) saved 30 of the 33 shots she faced in the game.
