ALMA, Mich.--The Adrian College men's golf team shot a 310 to wind up in sixth place at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree#2 at the Pine River Country Club, hosted by Alma College on Saturday.

For the sixth straight round in 2017-18, junior Andrew Skibski led the way for the Bulldogs with a 76 for a 17th-place overall. He was followed by freshmen Brett McGugan (77, T-19th), Noah Kosal  (77, T-19th), senior Zak Hart (80, T-30th) and junior Johnathan Roscoe (85, T-42nd). Freshman Hayden Winch competed as an individual and had a 78 for 27th.

Skibski is currently eighth in the MIAA with a 73.5 stroke average, but only 2-1/2 shots from the top of the leaderboard.

Calvin College took home the team title with a 287. Co-medalists were Nick Ludka from Kalamazoo College and Cameron Ruge of Trine University with identical 70 scores.

Adrian will next be at the MIAA Jamboree #3 on Monday in West Olive on the Wuskowhan Players Club course, starting at 1 p.m. The event is hosted by Hope College.
