Box Score ADRIAN, Mich.--Freshman Sha'Trice Graves came off the bench to spark the Adrian College women's basketball team with career highs of 17 rebounds and 17 points, helping the Bulldogs to an 84-73 non-conference victory Saturday over visiting Illinois Tech.

TOP 'DAWGS
= Sophomore Emily Somerville led Adrian with a career-best 25 points on seven 3-pointers.
= Graves played 27 minutes, connecting on eight of 14 shots from the floor. She also posted a Bulldog season's best four blocked shots.
= Sophomore Alivia Kondrath also notched double digits with 11 points, a career high. She added three steals.
= Junior Ashley Morris dished seven assists to pace all playmakers, tying her previous career high set Nov. 29 at Alma.
= Sophomore Angelina Goosby and freshman Rachel Bucher both pulled down six rebounds. Goosby also had three steals while Bucher had two, plus two blocks.
THE OPPOSITION
= Shannon O'Donnell led all scorers with 32 points on 9-for-14 field goal shooting and 14-of-16 from the free throw line. She completed a double-double with a team-high 10 rebounds and stuffed the stats sheet with five assists and three steals.
= Erin Efimoff and Madison Davis added 20 and 12 points, respectively. Efimoff had eight rebounds and three steals while Davis offered six assists and two steals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= The teams played a close first quarter as Adrian led 16-15, but the Bulldogs outscored the Scarlet Hawks in the second, 30-14, to take control by halftime up 46-29.
= Sophomore Aly Kubik (9 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals) ignited Adrian's decisive run by scoring six of the team's first eight points to start the second quarter, and Somerville added 11 points on the strength of three 3balls.
= In the second half, Adrian maintained a double-digit lead for most of it although Tech did manage to cut the deficit to 72-64 on a Davis trey with 8 minutes and 14 seconds left in the contest.
= But the Bulldogs responded with a 10-0 run over the next four minutes to go up, 82-64, never threatened again.
= Adrian made nine more field goals (32-23) and eight more 3-pointers (11-3). Illinois Tech tried to stay in the game by making 24 of 35 free throws.
= Adrian's strong rebounding helped the Bulldogs earn 26 second-chance points to 15 for Tech. The Bulldogs won the glass, 49-34. Graves was the catalyst with 10 offensive boards alone.

= Today, Adrian established team season highs for points (84), three-pointers (11), offensive rebounds (24), blocked shots (9), steals (12) and assists (18).
= Tech has lost 17 consecutive games dating back to Feb. 14, 2017.
= Adrian defeated Tech, 81-27, in the teams' only previous meeting last season in Chicago.
