GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--The Adrian College men's golf team began the month of October on Monday by placing three finishers in the top-10 at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree #4, hosted by Calvin College at the Watermark Country Club.
Senior Andrew Skibski and sophomore Hayden Winch paced the Adrian lineup with identical 72 scores for a fifth-place tie, while sophomore Noah Kosal posted a 74 (T-10th) as an individual, out of 53 student-athletes.
Joining Skibski and Winch in the AC fivesome were freshman AJ Clark (81, T-36th), sophomore Brett McGugan (85, T-43rd) and freshman Jackson Tellerico (86, T-45th)
Josh Gibson (68) of team winner Hope College (285) was the medalist of the fourth Jamboree of the fall. As a team, the Bulldogs shot a 310 for fifth place.
Adrian will be idle until Friday and Saturday, Oct. 12-13, when it wraps up the fall season at the MIAA Fall Final on the Kaufman Golf Course in Wyoming, Mich. The event both days are scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
