Box Score ADRIAN, Mich.--The nationally-ranked Adrian College men's hockey team used a balanced offense that saw 15 different student-athletes land on the scoresheet as the Bulldogs shut out visiting Lawrence, 7-0, in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association opener for both squads on Friday evening.

TOP 'DAWGS
= Senior Bryan Yim netted his third career hat trick for his first goals of the young season.
= Senior Connor Armour also notched three points with a goal and two assists, while going 6-for-9 on face-offs.
= Junior defenseman Joey Colatarci collected two assists.
= Classmate Dino Balsamo was 9-for-12 on face-offs, followed by freshmen William Brochu at 6-for-6 and Michael Montambault at 8-for-17 in the dot.
THE OPPOSITION
= Taylor Urch was 7-for-13 on face-offs.
= Josh Koepplinger led Lawrence with five shots and went 4-1 in the face-off circle.
= Back-up goalie Greg Procopio played the final 32 minutes and 12 seconds, stopping 20 of 22 shots he faced.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian was 2-for-6 on the power play and killed off all four LU man-advantage attempts.
= The Bulldogs jumped on the Vikings in the first period by scoring three goals on a 19-2 shots-on-goal margin. They finished 49 to 21 for the contest.
= With Adrian on the power play, Yim got the scoring under way at the 3:02 mark to begin the game and the home team never looked back.
= Freshman Trevor Coykendall made it 2-0 at 16:20 with his first collegiate goal and senior Brian Bachnak scored 57 seconds later for a three-goal lead.
= Adrian also found the back of the net three times in the second frame on goals from Armour and Yim during a 43-second span and junior Matt McNair with 1:38 remaining.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Senior goalie Kevin Entmaa picked up his fifth career shutout after turning aside all 21 shots he faced, tying James Hamby (2011-14) for the third-most in AC history.
= Senior Cory Dunn notched his 100th career point on a primary assist of Yim's second goal of the evening, becoming the 15th Bulldog overall and third defenseman in team history to reach the feat.
= Adrian now leads Lawrence 22-0-3 in the all-time series after the largest shutout victory over the Vikings.
= The Bulldogs move to 10-2 lifetime in home openers. Tonight was the first shutout win since Nov. 15, 2013, when Concordia-Wisconsin also lost by seven.
= The start of the game was delayed 22 minutes due to glass shattering behind the goal on a practice shot where the Zamboni enters. After the terrific AIA maintenance staff made the quick repair, warm-ups resumed and the game had an opening puckdrop at 7:27 p.m.
