Box Score ADRIAN, Mich.--Adrian struggled through a tough second quarter as host Siena Heights took advantage en route to a 66-36 non-conference women's basketball win over the Bulldogs in a crosstown showdown on Tuesday evening.

= Junior Emily Somerville scored a game-high 17 points on 6-for-12 shooting from the floor, including five treys.
= Sophomore Sha'Trice Graves and Somerville led the team with four rebounds apiece.
= Senior Katie Crawford (5 points) had two steals as did sophomore Rachel Bucher.
THE OPPOSITION
= Kiana Votava tallied a team-best 14 points on 6-for-9 field goal shooting, plus five rebounds and four steals.
= Anaya Powell had a game-high five assists.
= Alyssa Larson and Haley Hoffman came off the bench to net 11 and 10 points, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian missed all four field goal attempts and committed 13 turnovers in the second quarter, when the Saints capitalized to net 18 points to build a 30-9 halftime lead.
= Siena Heights outrebounded Adrian 40-29, led by Sharmaine Wills (6 points) who had a game-best nine rebounds and Demi Russell (8), six.
= The Saints turned 22 Adrian turnovers into 22 points.
= The Bulldogs shot only 28.6 percent (12-42) from the field for the night.
= Somerville tried to jumpstart a comeback in the second half by scoring nine of Adrian's next 11 points, but the hill was too steep to climb.
= SHU held Adrian scoreless for over 12 minutes, lasting from 1:44 left in the first quarter until Bucher started the third quarter scoring with a pair of free throws at 9:38.
