HOW IT HAPPENED

The first half was tight the whole way, with the largest lead of the first half being when Earlham was up by six only five minutes into the game. The Bulldogs were able to overcome that early deficit and took a 27-26 lead into the break. Neither team was shooting the ball very efficiently in the first, with Adrian connecting at a 33.3% clip, while the Quakers only made 29.6% of their shots from the field. Freshman guard Kylon Jarreau led the Black and Gold with 10 points in the first half.

Earlham was able to make the first basket of the second half to take the lead. The Quakers led AC for 46 seconds before the Bulldogs could tie it up. That would be the last time Adrian trailed, with the Black and Gold only allowing Earlham to tie the game once more throughout the rest of the game. Adrian shot much better in the second half, making half of the 22 shots it attempted, bringing the team's shooting-percentage for the whole game up to 40.8%.
