Box Score WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Adrian College men's soccer team was shutout by defending NCAC Champions, Kenyon in the second day of the Kiwanis Classic on Saturday, Sep. 8.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Kenyon got off to a quick start, scoring in the first minute with a shot that appeared to be a cross but found its way into the back of the net.
The Lords doubled their lead seven minutes later, scoring in the eighth minute, and then extended it further by scoring again in the 13th minute to make it 3-0 Kenyon less than 15 minutes into the game.
A penalty in the 33rd minute sent the lead to 4-0, which the Lords would take with them into halftime.
The Bulldogs' offense applied pressure in the second half, doubling Kenyon's shots in the second 45, but couldn't find the back of the net.
TOP DOGS
• Junior Garrett Miller led the Bulldogs with three shots with one finding its way on net.
• Sophomore Jordan Miller and freshman Elliot Hughes added two shots each.
THE OPPOSITION
• Bret Lowry, David Anderson, Brice Koval, and Scott Upton all scored for Kenyon.
• John Penas and Philippe Stengel each picked up an assist.
UP NEXT
Adrian's next game is Sep. 12 when they host Michigan-Dearborn in the Bulldogs' home opener. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
