Box Score LAKE FOREST, Ill.--Troy Nelson led all scorers with three points and George Argiropoulos posted the shutout with a 19-save performance as Lake Forest blanked visiting Adrian 6-0 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association men's hockey action on Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
= Lake Forest got all the scoring it would need 2 minutes and 23 seconds after the opening face-off when Will Lebel intercepted a failed Adrian clearing pass out of its zone between the circles and shot the puck between Edelkoort's pads.
= Nelson made it 2-0 with the first of two Forester shorthanded goals at 15:31 of the second period.
= Lake Forest added four insurance goals--including an empty-net, shorthanded tally and power-play marker--in the third.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Lake Forest defeated Adrian for the first time in 28 tries with Bulldogs holding a 26-1-1 all-time series lead.
= Tonight marked the first time since Jan. 23, 2015 at Finlandia University (3-0) that the Bulldogs were shut out and was the worst loss since St. Norbert won 11-1 at home on Jan. 31, 2014.
