Box Score ALBION, Mich.--Adrian College senior Katie Crawford had a career day with team highs of 13 points and nine rebounds off the bench, but Albion College took advantage of opponent mistakes to score an 88-65 victory Saturday over the visiting Bulldogs in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's basketball action.

TOP 'DAWGS
= Crawford, who also had two assists, a steal and two blocked shots, finished 5-for-9 from the field and 3-for-3 at the free throw line.
= Senior Ashley Morris, junior Alivia Kondrath (3 steals) and freshman Rylee Campbell also scored in double digits with 11, 11 and 10 points, respectively, to give Adrian balance.
= Junior Emily Somerville and sophomore Sha'Trice Graves (5 rebounds) chipped in seven points each.
= Sophomore Rachel Bucher tied for game-high honors with seven assists, which is a career-best. She also had three rebounds and two steals.
= Freshman Addison Bergman pulled down seven rebounds, dished two assists and blocked two shots.
THE OPPOSITION
= Evelyn Wischmeyer erupted for a game-high 23 points on 8-for-10 field goal shooting, including 3-for-4 from three-point land, and 4-for-4 on free throws. She added five rebounds, four steals and three blocks.
= Albion also had balance offensively: Emily Bernas (14 points), Rain Hinton (13), Sam Carter (11) and Maija Gillum (11) supported Wischmeyer in the scorebook.
= Bernas and Gillum helped give the Britons the edge on the glass with six rebounds apiece.
= Carter had a game-high-tying seven assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian committed 26 turnovers that Albion translated into 33 points, and the Britons also were 21-for-28 at the free throw line while the Bulldogs made six of 10 shots from there.
= The Britons also had an advantage in the paint by a 36-24 scoring margin and outrebounded the Bulldogs 41 to 34.
= Kondrath opened the scoring with a trey and Adrian held the lead for the first three minutes until Carter hit a jumper to snap an 8-8 tie. That put the Britons ahead for good and the hosts eventually took a commanding 34-21 lead after the first quarter.
= Albion outscored Adrian 25-10 in the second quarter to go up 59-31 at the intermission.
= The Britons led by as many as 37 points in the second half.
= The teams were fairly even in field goals: Adrian (26-58, 44.8%; 7-23 3FG, 30.4%), Albion (29-65, 44.6%; 9-18 3FG, 50.0%)
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Albion has won four-straight while Adrian has lost three games in a row.
= Crawford's nine rebounds are a career high for the road--one shy of her personal best when she had 10 against Kalamazoo at home on Jan. 25, 2017.
= Despite its fifth straight loss to the Britons, Adrian still leads the all-time series 57-45 since the 1968-69 campaign. The Bulldogs are 28-24 at Albion.
= The programs have split 80 MIAA matchups.
