MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Adrian College men's basketball team earned its first win of the season, taking down Manchester University on the road Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Bulldogs never trailed, opening a quick 5-0 lead to start the game behind a Robert Warrick three and a Jeremy Kalonjili layup.

 They excelled behind balanced scoring, owning a 10 points or more lead through a majority of the contest, surpassing the 10-point mark of a trio of Jordan Harris free throws, followed by a Harris layup to make it 25-10.

Adrian opened up its lead in the second half, after kicking it off with a 45-26 lead.

TOP DOGS

• Jeremy Kalonji led the offensive efforts, posting 22 points while going 9-for-13 from the field. Kalonji also went up for four rebounds.

• A great night for Robert Warrick as he was second the team in scoring with 18 points, 8-10 from the field. He was strong in other facets, grabbing four rebounds while also adding two assists, two steals and one block.

• Jordan Harris was perfect at the charity stripe, going 7-for-7. He collected a team high 8 rebounds, two offensive and six defensive.
