Box Score ADRIAN, Mich.--The visiting Hope Flying Dutch used a fast start on the way to a 78-52 victory over Adrian, 78-52, in the Bulldogs' finale during Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's basketball action on Wednesday evening.

= Senior Ashley Morris led Adrian with 14 points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots.
= Sophomore Sha'Trice Graves tied Morris for team-high rebounding honors with six.
= Seniors Emily Somerville (9 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists) and Katie Crawford (2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist) joined Morris in making their final appearances at home.
THE OPPOSITION
= Francesca Buchanan led all scorers with 17 points, including nine-for-10 from the free throw line. She added seven rebounds.
= Kenedy Schoonveld chipped in 11 points on 5-for-8 field goal shooting and had a game-high three steals.
= Olivia Voskuil (5 points, 2 assists, 2 blocks) led all student-athletes with nine rebounds.
= Lauren Newman tied Morris for game-high honors with four assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Hope, which never trailed, led 27-10 after the first quarter and 45-21 at the intermission.
= The Bulldogs never quit, holding the Flying Dutch to 33 points in the second half, but the visitors used their depth and size to keep the hosts at bay.
= Hope turned 19 Adrian turnovers into 22 points and shot 19-for-29 at the free throw line. The Bulldogs made eight of 13 free throws.
= The HC bench outscored AC by a 32-12 score and had 15 second-chance points (14 offensive rebounds) to two (6) for the 'Dogs.
= After a Rachel Bucher layup tied the score 2-2, Hope reeled off 14 consecutive points in a 4-minute span to take control 16-2 at the 4-minute, 17-seconds mark remaining in the opening stanza.
= The Flying Dutch maintained a double-digit lead after that, owning as much as a 32-point advantage with 6:23 to go in the third quarter.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Hope sweeps the season series to lead Adrian 69-32 all-time, including 32-16 in Adrian.
= Hope is ranked 10th in NCAA Division III by both the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and D3hoops.com.
= Morris reached 900 career points and passed Dionne Walker (900 from 1986-90) for 18th place on the school's all-time scoring list with 909.
