WOOSTER, Ohio--With a team score of 312, Adrian College is seventh at the 11-school College of Wooster Nye Intercollegiate Tournament after Saturday's opening round held at the Wooster Country Club. Sunday's final 18 holes are scheduled for an 11 a.m. start.

Leading the Adrian lineup is sophomore Brett McGugan with a 75 for a ninth-place tie overall. That score is McGugan's lowest for a spring round and his second-best overall during the 2018-19 school year. In addition, sophomores Noah Kosal (78, T-26th), Hayden Winch (79, T-32nd), freshman Jackson Tellerico (80, T-40th) and senior Andrew Skibski (81, 44th) comprised the rest of the squad.

Denison holds a six-shot lead in the team standings going into Sunday.
