Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's hockey team hosted the Lake Forest Foresters in a NCHA matchup featuring the top two teams. The Bulldogs came away with a 3-1 victory led by two goals from Neysa Miller.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lake Forest struck first by scoring a goal halfway through the first period. Marissa Gebauer scored her fourth goal of the season to give the Foresters a 1-0 lead.
The Bulldogs tied the game in the second period 1-1. Reaghan Pietrowski scored on assists from Brianna Buchanan and Lexi Grunden. Pietrowski's goal marked her first of the season and first of her career.
Adrian struck again early in the third period on a shot from Neysa Miller to lead 2-1. With time winding down, Lake Forest was forced to pull their goalie with a 2-1 Adrian lead. Miller found the back of the net for the Bulldogs for her second goal of the game.

The Bulldogs return to action tomorrow afternoon to face Lake Forest in game two of the weekend series. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
