Box Score ADRIAN, Mich.--Senior Alivia Kondrath scored 10 points in her final game for Adrian and junior Sha'Trice Graves posted a double-double, but it wasn't enough to repel visiting Calvin in a hard-fought 55-52 loss to the Knights in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's basketball play on Saturday.

TOP 'DAWGS
= Graves finished with 10 points and a game-high 17 rebounds to go with three blocked shots and three steals.
= Sophomore Rylee Campbell scored a game-high 16 points, including four 3-pointers.
= Sophomore transfer Chelsea Palmer (2 points, 4 rebounds) led the Bulldogs with three assists.
THE OPPOSITION
= Gabby Timmer had a double-double of her own with 13 points and 12 rebounds to lead Knights in both categories.
= Leah Harris drained 12 points and dished a game-best five assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= The Bulldogs battled back from a 44-36 deficit in the fourth quarter to take their last lead of 52-51 on Graves' three-point play with 42 seconds left in the game.
= But Calvin scored the game's last four points on a layup by Harris at :21 showing on the clock and two free throws from Sydney Cleary with 4 seconds remaining to ice the win.
= After an Adrian timeout, Campbell had a potential go-ahead jumper get blocked by Timmer after Harris' basket in the lane and the Bulldogs couldn't get the ball back.
= The tightly-contested game featured 14 ties and 20 lead changes.
= Calvin led 20-17 at the end of the first quarter and Adrian was in the lead at halftime, 27-26.
= With most statistical categories even for both teams, the Knights had a distinct advantage with their bench production by outscoring the Bulldogs 16-2.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Before the game, Kondrath was recognized in a Senior Day ceremony for her contributions on and off the court. In 87 career games, the three-year starter averaged 5.3 points. She averaged 6.3 points in 22 of 24 starts this season. Her best season was her 2019 junior campaign when she averaged 7.6 points and 1.9 rebounds.
= Calvin leads the all-time series, 93-27.
= Graves ends as the MIAA regular-season champion for rebounds, averaging 10.6 per game--which breaks her previous high of 8.5 set in 2018-19 as a sophomore.
= Timmer paces the conference with a 17.3 scoring average while shooting a second-best 50.1 percent from the field and is tied for second with 9.2 rebounds per game.
= The Knights will be the No. 4 seed in the upcoming MIAA Tournament.
= Graves set the Adrian career blocks record this season, pushing her total to 163. She also currently ranks fourth in school history with 578 rebounds, passing Dawn Brooks who had 574 from 1989-93.

= Adrian's season has come to a close, but the Bulldogs are scheduled to return four starters among 18 student-athletes that saw action this winter in 2020-21.
