JACKSON, Mich.--The Adrian Bulldogs women's bowling team traveled to Jax 60 Lanes on Saturday, Feb. 8, to participate in the first-ever Alma College Scotty Classic. Adrian knocked down 6,123 pins to finish in ninth place out of 18 schools. The format of this tournament was four individual games and four sets of bakers.
Individually, Senior Jordyn Stone performed very well throwing a 772 for four games, averaging 193. Stone threw a high game of 234, putting her in 12th place out of 138 bowlers. Sophomore Nicole Discenna threw a 684 for four games, averaging 171. Discenna finished in 39th place. Sophomore Kailee Treloar and junior Erica Jones both also threw four games for the Bulldogs. Sophomore Kylie Middleton, freshman Megan Staley and sophomore Adrienne Spranger rounded out the Bulldogs lineup.
Host Alma College took first, Lourdes was second and Concordia (Michigan) claimed third.
