ADRIAN, Mich. - At Docking Stadium, the Adrian men's soccer team lost it fourth-consecutive in-conference match, dropping a 2-0 decision to Albion on Saturday afternoon.
Despite posting a conference-play-best eight shots, the Bulldogs could only muster one of those tries on Britons' netminder, Anton Favre.
The visitors, on the other hand, tallied 15 total shots, including eight on net en route to the game's only two scores.
Stefan Isaevski broke the ice late in the first half, giving Albion the edge heading into the halftime break. Then, in the final ten minutes of regulation, the Brits picked up an insurance goal off the foot of Spencer Moeggenberg to seal the deal.
The block and gold were led offensively by
Chris Czyz's three shots, while
Brian Politi contributed two.
Robbie Precious was responsible for Adrian's lone shot on goal, and
Alex Brock came up with six saves in his first start in goal for the 'Dogs since October 5 at Hope.
As the regular-season nears its end, the Bulldogs (2-11-2, 0-4 MIAA)Â will make one last road trip on Tuesday evening when they visit Trine in Indiana.
