DELAWARE, Ohio -- The Adrian College women's rugby team traveled to Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday morning for a trio of matches against Ohio Wesleyan, IUPUI, and Earlham. The Bulldogs came away with three wins by defeating IUPUI 19-7, Ohio Wesleyan 14-5, and Earlham 31-10.
In match one, IUPUI scored on the opening kick off followed by a successful conversion to lead 7-0. The Bulldogs went on to comeback and lead 12-7 at halftime.

Claire Ames scored a try in the first half for Adrian while
Madison Williamson competed a conversion.
Shyann Ronning scored a try followed by another successful conversion from Williamson to win 19-7.
Ames scored a try to start the second match against Ohio Wesleyan followed by a conversion from Williamson to lead 7-0.
Anais Melendrez scored in the first half to lead 14-0 with the help by a conversion from Williamson. Adrian led 14-0 at half. After a defensive battle, Ohio Wesleyan scored late in the second half, but the Bulldogs pulled away with the 14-5 win.
The Bulldogs offense went off for 31 points in the third match. Green recorded a pairs of tries for Adrian as did Melendrez. The Bulldogs led 26-0 at halftime.
Shyann Ronning scored a try in the second half to help win 31-10. Williamson made three conversions.
Adrian returns to action on Saturday, October 30 on the road at Oberlin College beginning at 11:00 AM.
