ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's soccer team squared off against Olivet College at Docking Stadium in the season finale. The Bulldogs dropped the contest 4-2 to the Comets. Prior to the game, the Bulldogs honored Robbie Precious and Nate Lake as the two team's seniors.

The Bulldogs jumped on the board in the 14th minute on a free kick off of a Olivet yellow card. From just outside the 18 on the left side of the net, Robbie Precious netted a goal to take the early lead. The Bulldogs held the lead and headed into the break up 1-0.

Olivet netted a quick goal in the second half to tie the match. Eight minutes later, the Comets scored again to take the lead in the 53rd minute. Olivet added some insurance with another goal in the 82nd minute and the 84th minute. Joshua Rosendale from the Comets recorded a hat trick after scoring three unanswered goals. 

Patrick Hanlon checked into the game late and netted his first goal of his career to make it 4-2. Precious and Justin Sarka recorded assists.

The Bulldogs recorded 13 shots on the night landing six on goal while Olivet totaled nine shots with five on goal. Alex Brock added a save in goal for Adrian.

Adrian concludes its season and finishes 2-14-2 (0-7-0 MIAA) on the year.
