ALMA, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's volleyball team traveled up to Alma College to take on the Scots in the regular season finale before the MIAA Tournament. The Bulldogs were swept 3-0 losing sets 25-21, 25-23, and 25-16.
The Bulldogs struggled in the first set putting together an attack percentage of just .026. Adrian recorded 10 kills to go with nine errors with 38 total attacks. The Bulldogs bounced back in the second set with 17 kills and five errors on 41 total attacks, but it wasn't enough to grab the set win. Adrian went on to finish with a .086 in the third set with 11 kills and eight errors.
Katelyn Bergman led the team with 11 kills followed by nine from
Mallory Dorow and five from
Erikah Bower. Bergman also finished with two blocks on the night, and
Maddy Peters recorded three aces.
Hailey Farrell finished with 27 assists, and Peters finished with 16 digs.
The Bulldogs await the final standings which will be determined after Saturday's MIAA matches to see their place in the MIAA Tournament.Â
