ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's basketball team comes back from the Thanksgiving break with a pair of games this week. The Bulldogs will travel to Otterbein University on Wednesday before hosting Case Western Reserve University on Saturday. Adrian has been on a rough start to begin the year with a 1-5 record as they have been tasked with injuries. Otterbein begins the year with a 3-1 record and CWRU comes in with a 7-1 record on the year.
The Bulldogs are led by Connor Pellham who leads the team with an average of 16.3 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game in four games this season. Freshman
De'Ovion Price is second on the team averaging 15.5 points per game in six games with five starts followed by
P'hariz Watkins who has 12.2 points per game in six games.
As a team, Adrian average 75 points per game while giving up 85.3 points per game. The black and gold hold a team field goal percentage of 43.9% with 33 steals, and 18 blocks.
Adrian's lone win came against Manchester where they scored a season high 92 points with the help of a season high 22 made free throws, and 17 assists.
Otterbein University is enforcing a mask mandate on their campus and will require all fans to wear a mask regardless of their vaccination status. Fans are to be masked during the duration of the contest unless eating or drinking. Anyone who chooses not to comply with the mandate will be removed for the game.
Adrian and Otterbein tip-off Wednesday, December 1 at 7:00 PM at the Rike Center in Westerville, Ohio. The Bulldogs and Case Western will begin on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center.
