FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The Adrian College men's soccer team traveled to Fort Wayne, Ind. to take on the University of St. Francis from the NAIA. The Bulldogs led late in the second half, but allowed a goal in the final minute to force overtime and tie, 2-2.
Adrian went down early allowing a goal in the third minute of the match to trail 1-0. The Bulldogs bounced back in the 23rd minute on an unassisted goal by
Robbie Precious to head into halftime with the match tied. The Bulldogs took the lead two minutes into the second half on an unassisted goal from
David Smith to lead 2-1. With a one goal lead late in the match, Adrian allowed a goal in the final minute of regulation to tie the match 2-2 and force overtime.Â
After two periods of overtime a winner wasn't determined and Adrian recorded it's second time of the season.
Adrian recorded ten shots on the match landing six on goal.
Alex Brock faced eight shots on goal making five saves on the night.
The Bulldogs return to action on Friday at Rochester for a 1PM start.
