ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's rugby team hosted No. 7 ranked Central Michigan. The Bulldogs went off to score 59 points to mark a season hight as they defeated Central Michigan 59-19.
Adrian struck first with a try to lead 5-0.
Max Miller ran in for the second try of the match to lead 10-0.
Michael Pakofe picked up a try followed by another try by Nicolas Andiarena to lead 24-0.
Michael Karns scored at the end of the half which was answered by Central Michigan's first try of the match to head into halftime with the Bulldogs leading 33-7.
Karns scored again to start the second half which was followed by a try by
Sione Mamata.
Seti Latu scored the last two trys for Adrian to erupt for 59 points. Central Michigan totaled a pair of trys in the second half, but couldn't mount the comeback.
Macgregor Adams finished the match 5-for-5 on 2-point conversions.
Adrian returns to action on the road at Grand Valley State on October 2 at 1PM.
