ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College Athletic Director Craig Rainey '89 announced a change in leadership for the men's rugby program, as the college has parted ways with head coach Christopher Hathaway.

Hathaway joined Adrian College rugby during the 2023-24 academic year, serving as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's programs. He was later promoted to head coach of the women's team before transitioning into the role of head coach for the men's rugby program.

"We thank Chris for all of his work during his time at Adrian College, and we wish him the best of luck in his future," Rainey said. "We are looking to bring our men's rugby program back to the success we had during its first seasons."

Adrian College will begin a national search for its next men's rugby head coach immediately.
