ADRIAN, Mich. - For the sixth time in seven matches, the Adrian men's soccer team will venture away from home. The latest road trip for the Bulldogs will take them to Tiffin, Ohio to face off against Heidelberg on Tuesday afternoon.
The Berg (4-4) recently snapped a four-game losing-skid this past Saturday with a 4-1 defeat of Albion.
Rafael Bellucci Marin and Christopher Flores have each tallied three goals for the Student Princes, combining for 27 total shots, including 15 on goal.
Kelly Itito and Evan McAllister actively lead Heidelberg with two assists each, while Sigurd Ilestad has started all eight matches for the Berg between the posts, making 34 total saves en route to a .810 save-percentage.
Heidelberg has played fairly evenly with its opponents this season, narrowly outscoring them by an average of 0.38, while being outshot by an average of just 0.50.
Adrian (1-7-2), on the other hand, is hoping to rekindle its offensive touch. The 'Dogs produced nine goals over the first nine matches of the season, but have since been held scoreless over their most recent four.
