ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's soccer team hosted the Defiance College Yellow Jackets in a nonconference match at Docking Stadium on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs fell to Defiance by a 2-1 score to move to 1-3 on the season.

The Yellow Jackets struck first in the 21^st minute to a take a 1-0 lead. At the start of the second half, Justin Sarka netted a goal to make tie the match 1-1 on a free kick from the 18. Defiance broke the tie again in the 52^nd minute and was able to hold one to grab the win.

The Bulldogs recorded 14 shots with eight on goal during the night while the Yellow Jackets recorded ten shots with five on goal. Alex Brock recorded three saves on the night for Adrian.

The Bulldogs next match will be on Saturday, September 11 on the road at Wittenberg University starting at 1:00 PM to start the Bulldogs' five match road trip.
