ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Women's ACHA D1 hockey team competed twice last week, first taking on CCWHA opponents, the Concordia University-Ann Arbor Cardinals, where they were 9-4 road victors on Thursday night.

Junior goaltender,
Chloe Burt, stopped 22 of 26 shots, earning the win in net, while two goals apiece came from forwards
Erika McDonald and
Ashlynn Stitt.
Rhea Peterson also finished with two goals and added two assists in the contest. The team then traveled back home to the Arrington Ice Arena for a friendly exhibition with Gilmour Academy on Friday night, where they lost a close one, 5-4.

The WD1 Bulldogs, who are now 2-0 in CCWHA conference play to start the season, will have themselves a busy week ahead. Three home games in four nights will feature the team taking on Midland University, Thursday (7:30PM) and Sunday afternoon (1:00PM), while Concordia University-Ann Arbor will visit on Saturday night for an 8:00PM puck drop.
