ALBION, Mich. -- The Adrian College Equestrian Team had a successful competition Saturday, October 1st at Albion College. The team took 6 horses and had 11 riders compete. With the highest amount of overall points during the PM show, the team earned the team high point awards for the PM show. Each team member, as well as horses, had a strong showing and did a great job representing Adrian College.
 
A special congratulation goes out to the following riders:
 
Lori Girrbach (senior and team captain) - AM & PM high point rider with two wins in open horsemanship as well as a 1st and 2nd in open reining. 
Kaley Whelan (senior) - qualified for regionals with a win in rookie b horsemanship; moved up to level 1 horsemanship 
 
The stock team will be back in action Saturday, November 12th at Albion College for their fifth and sixth competitions of the season! The hunt team also has their season opener this Saturday, October 8th! Good luck and go Bulldogs!
