MIDLAND, Mich. -- The Adrian College equestrian team delivered an impressive performance at the Regional Western Championships, recording multiple top-six finishes and strong rides across the board.
At the conclusion of the competition, overall season standings were also announced, with the team earning third place for the season.
Individually, three Bulldog riders will advance to the Semi-Finals in Kentucky in two weeks. Two riders qualified through their regional placings, while another will compete in the High Point Rider Competition at Semi-Finals.
The team also celebrated a special honor for one of its own horses. Sheldon was named Horse of the Year, an award voted on by all competing teams throughout the season. The team is proud to have Sheldon as part of the program and grateful to see him recognized by fellow competitors.

The team looks forward to supporting its advancing riders at Semi-Finals as they compete for a chance to qualify for the National Championship. The top four riders at Semi-Finals will earn a spot at the national competition in North Carolina at the Tryon International Equestrian Center.
