ALBION, Mich. -- The Adrian College Equestrian Team had a successful competition Saturday, November 12th with a show hosted by GVSU at Albion College. The team took 6 horses and had 11 riders compete. The team ended both the AM & PM show with the reserve high point team title! 
 
A special congratulation goes out to the following riders:
 
Lori Girrbach (senior & stock captain) - qualified for regionals with winning rides in both open horsemanship and reining. She was also the AM high point rider!
Abby Taylor (senior) - qualified for regionals in Rookie horsemanship and will now be showing in level 1 horsemanship!
Sommer Cavazos (senior) - 2nd in beginner horsemanship in both the AM & PM show! This was Sommers first time competing with the team!
Rachel Bowers (sophomore) - qualified for regionals in ranch riding during the PM show with a beautiful ride on our team horse Luna!
Gopher Warwick (freshman) - qualified for regionals with winning rides in Rookie horsemanship in the AM & PM show! Gopher will now be showing in level 1 horsemanship!
 
The stock team will be back in action Saturday, December 3rd for the last show of the semester! Come out to support the team as we host this show at Albion College! Good luck and go Bulldogs!
