ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's basketball team saw their three game win streak come to a close after falling to Siena Heights 74-60 Tuesday evening at Merillat Sport and Fitness Center.
How It Happened
The Bulldog's were outscored in all four quarters tonight against the Saints. Despite only being outscored by one point in the second quarter and two points in the fourth, the Saints combined for an 11-point advantage over the Bulldogs in the first and third quarters.
The Bulldogs saw three players in double figures tonight: Junior Jordan Phillips had a team-high three three-pointers on her way to 11 points, while Julia Tierman and Morgan Babb chipped in with a team-high of 12 points each. On the boards, freshman Ashlyn Weatherly had a game-high seven rebounds on the night and junior Kiaya Warner registered her fourth career block.
Historical Notes
With tonight's loss to Siena Heights, their all-time record against the Saints dropped to 16-25 in a series that dates back to 1982. Despite the loss, over the previous three games, the Bulldogs saw their longest win streak in four years. The Bulldogs will have to wait a little longer to see their first four-game win streak for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
