ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's basketball team picked up another conference win on Saturday afternoon with a win over Kalamazoo. After trailing at halftime, Adrian exploded in the second the second half to defeat the Hornet, 78-59.
Kalamazoo came out hot shooting in the first half making eight 3-pointers to grab a first half lead. The Bulldogs went on to outscore Kalamazoo 44-23 in the second half to dominate.
The Hornets shot 0-of-13 from three in the second half, but Adrian went 5-of-11 from three to push Adrian ahead.
Connor Pelham led the team with a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
De'Ovion Price finished with 15 points for Adrian while
Kendall Chrismon recorded 12 and
Josh Rechsteiner added 10.
Jalen Paul recorded seven assists putting him three assists away from breaking the Adrian College record for most assists in a single season.
The Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday, February 16 on the road at Alma College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
