RICHMOND, Ind. -- Things did not go the Bulldogs way on Friday afternoon as the Adrian College baseball team struggled and dropped its game to Earlham College, 7-4. Adrian put together a pitching staff by committee during the game while
Thomas Miller homered in the first for the Bulldog offense.

Easton Rogers. Earlham bounced back with a two-run third inning to tie the game 2-2. Adrian struck against in the fourth on a wild pitch to take the lead which was followed by and RBI single from Rogers.
Earlham answered with a run in the fourth, but Adrian still head a 4-3 lead. Earlham scored to tie things up in the sixth on a while pitch. Adrian struggled down the stretch allowing three runs in the bottom of the eighth on a pair of homers and a RBI triple to trail 7-4.
The Bulldogs recorded 10 hits on the day with seven of them coming from the top three spots in the batting order with two from
Don Goodes and Miller and three from Rogers.
Brandon Schulze picked up the loss on the day for Adrian.
Adrian's next contest is on the road at Otterbein University on Wednesday, March 30 before opening up conference play against Calvin on April 1. Wednesday's game is slatted to begin at 4:00 PM.
