ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's tennis team hosted Olivet College on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs brought home an 8-1 victory over the Comets to move to 3-1 on the fall.
Sean Ruhf competed at No. 1 Singles for the Bulldogs and came away with a sweep of 6-3 and 6-0.
Joey Quigley won at No. 2 Singles with a pair of 6-0 shutouts.
Darren Walter won 6-1 and 6-1 at No. 3 Singles while
William Coffee won 6-0 and 6-1 at No. 4 Singles, and
Gabriel Hankey won 6-4 and 6-1 at No. 5 Singles.
Dakota Schneider won by default at No. 6 Singles.
Adrian went 3-0 at Doubles led by a pair of 8-0 victories from the duo of Quigley and
Zachary Perry along with
Jackson Wilcox and Ruhf. Schneider and Devin Olivas won 8-1 at No. 3 Doubles.
Adrian will return to action on Monday, September 26 when they travel to Bethel University in Indiana for a 1:00 PM match.
