ADRIAN, Mich. -- On Monday night the Adrian College men's soccer team hosted Anderson University where they struggled offensively and fell by a score of 3-0 in favor of the Ravens.
The Ravens were the only scorers tonight with the first coming at 17:52 in the first half. Anderson continually controlled the ball and took 16 shots with half of them on goal with two more finding the back of the net. Anderson had a light night in goal with one save in the first half and keeping Adrian out of their territory in the 2nd half.
Anderson gave the Bulldogs trouble from every direction goalkeeper Jackson Vacca looked. Adrian administered eight fouls on the night with one of them being a yellow card on Luke Grytza. They had three shots on the night with one of them being a shot on goal by Chris Czyz in the first half.
The Bulldogs fall to 1-9-0 on the season whereas Anderson improves to 2-3-2.
Adrian is back on the field Saturday, September 24 at 7 p.m. traveling to Westerville, Ohio to take on the Cardinals of Otterbein University.
