TECUMSEH, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's golf team hosted the MIAA Jamboree #2 on Wednesday afternoon at the Tecumseh Golf Club. Adrian was in second place in the conference entering the round and won by 14 strokes to win the Jamboree. The Bulldogs now hold the No. 1 spot in the MIAA Jamboree standings and finished the day with the best MIAA performance in program history. The Bulldogs put up a total of 316 to win the event.
Olivia Ohmer tied for first place in the round with a 77. With back-to-back MIAA Jamboree 77 performances, Ohmer sits alone in the first place spot in the MIAA as an individual.
Riley Kleck finished the day with a 78 followed by a 79 from
Taylor Ross.
Sara Bevington finished with an 82 on the afternoon while
Lauren Reed shot 84 to round out the starting five.
Adrian played five individuals on Wednesday which were led by
Ashlynn Challand who shot a 95.
Hannah Mason followed behind with a 96 while Katie Butkovsky shot a 97.
Ella Mason finished the day with a 101 with Haisley Turnquist shooting a 105.
The score of 316 ties a program record among all tournaments which was set last season.
The Bulldogs return to action on the road at MIAA Jamboree #3 on Saturday, September 24 hosted by Alma College at Pine River Country Club.
