GLEN ALLEN, Va. – The Adrian College women's golf team returned to action Monday and Tuesday, traveling to Virginia for a two-day, three-round tournament. The Bulldogs placed 15th in a highly competitive field with a total score of 995. Adrian opened with a 343 before improving to a 320 in the second round on Monday, and capped the event with a 332 on Tuesday.
Rachel Fay led the Bulldogs with a three-round total of 240, opening with an 84 before carding a 76 and an 80. Ainslee Hewitt followed closely with a 241, posting rounds of 83 and 80 on Monday before improving to a 78 on Tuesday.
Kennedy Kehres finished with a 256 after rounds of 87, 85, and 84, while Mackenzie Schulz recorded a 258 with rounds of 89, 79, and 90. Sami Burks rounded out the lineup with a 277, shooting 90, 91, and 96.
The Bulldogs will return to action April 10–11 when they travel to Saugatuck, Michigan, for the Hope College Invitational.
