ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's volleyball team had a Homecoming match of their own on Saturday morning as they hosted Alma College. The Bulldogs took care of business and swept Alma 3-0 to continue to stay perfect in conference play.
The Bulldogs took the first set 25-10. Adrian finished the set with ten kills with only four errors to total a percentage of .162. Alma struggled in the set totaling only four kills with ten errors. The Bulldogs won set two by a score of 25-11. They picked up 16 kills on three errors and finished with a percentage of .382. Adrian kept its foot on the game win the third set 25-10. They collected 10 kills with only two errors.
The Bulldogs finished the match with an attack percentage of .260 with 36 kills and only nine errors.
Megan Feldmann led the team with nine kills followed by eight from
Amber Morris and
Mallory Dorow.
Hailey Farrell finished with 25 assists for the Bulldogs while My Minjares led the team with 18 digs followed by 15 from Farrell and 12 from
Maddy Peters.
Adrian moves to 9-5 on the season and sit 2-0 in conference play. The Bulldogs will travel to Olivet College on Tuesday, September 27 for their next match at 6:30 PM.
