MARSHALL, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's golf team hit the course for another MIAA Jamboree. The fourth Jamboree was hosted by Olivet College at the Medalist Golf Club. The Bulldogs finished the day in second place after shooting a 330 to finish two strokes shy of first place.
Riley Kleck led the way for the Bulldogs with a 77.
Lauren Reed shot an 82 followed by an 85 from
Sara Bevington and an 86 from
Olivia Ohmer.
Taylor Ross rounded out the starting five with an 87.
Kleck's score of 77 was tied for first as an individual with a member from Calvin University. Reed placed ninth on the day while Bevington finished 12th. Kleck also led the field with the most pars on the round with 15.
As a team, the Bulldogs led the MIAA by 14 strokes entering the day, and lost to second place Saint Mary's by two stroke in today's round. Saint Mary's cut into the Adrian lead, but the Bulldogs still lead the MIAA standings by 12 strokes.
The Bulldogs will have a week off before wrapping up the fall season at the MIAA Fall Final hosted by Hope College on October 7 and 8 at Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek, Mich.
