ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's Soccer team honored its senior class before the final match of the season on Wednesday night. The Bulldogs hosted Trine University, but fell to the Thunder, 2-0.
The Bulldogs honored
Andrey Hofius,
Juan Tapia, and
Patrick Hanlon before the match and thanked them for their time and achievements as a Bulldog.
In the match, Trine scored in the 39th and 79th minute to secure the win. Goaltender
Jackson Vacca made five stellar saves while the Bulldogs managed six shots, with three on goal. Defenders
Gavan Bignall,
Brady Musser, and
Alfonso Chirco all played the entire match and
Dante Grasso led the team with two shots on goal over 64 minutes of playing time.
The Bulldogs finish the 2023 season with a record of 1-13-2. The team will return in the fall of 2024, looking to turn things around.
