LANSING, Mich. – The Adrian College men's and women's rowing team competed in Michigan over the weekend at the Head of the Grand. Adrian had another successful showing in their second event of the season.

The Men's 8+ team finished in third in the event with a time of 12:11.1 while the Men's 2x finished fourth with a time of 15:30. The Men's Varsity 4+ and Men's Novice 4+ highlighted the weekend with a first-place finish in the event with times of 13:05.8 and 14:52.5. Adrian competed a second team in the Men's Varsity 4+ that went on to place fourth in the event at 14:21.7.
 
On the women's side, Adrian placed seventh in the Women's 4+ which was full of Division I programs. In the Women's 4+, the Bulldogs posted a time of 15:41.3 which ranked the highest among non-DI programs. The Bulldogs also went on to place seventh in the Women's 8+ with a time of 16:13.1.
 
The men's rowing team will return to action on Saturday, October 14 at the Head of the Muskingum in Marietta, Ohio. The women's rowing team return on October 22 when the Bulldogs travel for the Head of the Charles
