ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's volleyball team took down the Thunder of Trine University in a white out inside the Merillat Performance Gym. The Bulldogs won in three straight sets to win the MIAA quarterfinal match. Adrian won the three sets 25-22, 26-24, and 25-17.
Leading the Bulldogs offensively, was
Mallory Dorow and
Amber Morris where they both totaled nine kills.
Ariel Gibson added seven of her own while
Grace Croci and
Kayla Chan both contributed five kills.
Hailey Farrell racked up 27 assists on the night and also led with two service aces.
Mya Minjares was a force grinding out a total of 32 digs to lead all players. Farrell continued to add to her totals with 14 digs followed by 12 from Morris and 10 from
Lana Cox. Gibson led the Bulldogs with four blocks in the three sets for Adrian.
Adrian will head up to play Hope College in Holland, Michigan to compete in the MIAA tournament semi-final match at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 10!
