FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The No. 1 Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 1 hockey team completed their first semester schedule with a sweep over No. 14 Indiana Tech University in a home and home series this week. The Bulldogs took down the Warriors 5-2 at home and 2-1 on the road.
The Bulldogs opened the series with a win in their Teddy Bear toss game and last home match of 2023 on Thursday night. Goals from

Gavin Watt,
Matteo DiGiulio, and
Cameron Armstrong were the difference as
Noah Decottignies stopped 33 of 35 shots to secure the win for Adrian.
Caleb Minns finished with three assists in the contest.
Friday night saw the Bulldogs come from behind as the Warriors were up 1-0 after two periods in Fort Wayne. Adrian would claw back late to earn the victory on an opening goal from
Chad Noetzel, followed by a game-winning power play goal by
Dylan Gajewski to put the road team ahead. Decottignies shut the door again, turning aside 22 of 23 shots faced to earn his 13th win of the campaign.
The MD1 Bulldogs improve to 19-2-0 on the season and continue to hold the No. 1 ranking in the nation. The team will be back in action in early January 2024 when they begin their second semester schedule.
