EVANSTON, Ill. - The Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 2 hockey team traveled to the suburbs of Chicago this past weekend for a two-game set with Loyola University-Chicago and Aurora University. The Bulldogs came out with a 12-1 win over Loyola but unfortunately were not able to face-off against Aurora due to a lack of game officials, therefore the game was canceled.
The weekend match-up with Loyola would be the last of the semester for the WD2 Bulldogs before the Christmas break. In an explosive offensive performance, Adrian scored ten unanswered goals before Loyola made it on to the score sheet.

Aniston Atkinson each tallied once for the Bulldogs, while
Mary Robinson scored twice,
Devon Cavaliere collected three goals for her first ACHA hat-trick, and
Ella Zebley added one for her first ACHA goal. Goaltender
Olivia Palacio earned her first ACHA win in between the pipes for the Bulldogs.
The WD2 Bulldogs finish their first semester schedule with a 8-3 record and will resume play in mid-January 2024.
