TECUMSEH, Mich. – The Adrian College women's golf team are NCAA Tournament bound as they won the MIAA Automatic Qualifier on Saturday. The Bulldogs shot a 318 on Saturday to complete the three-round tournament.
Taylor Ross led the team finishing first with a 75 on the day.
Lauren Reed shot an 80 on the day placing third over the course of the final two rounds.
Olivia Ohmer shot an 81 on Saturday followed by a pair of 82 rounds from
Sara Bevington and
Riley Kleck.
Adrian's second team totaled a 357 on the day led by
Ella Mason who shot 80 for the Bulldogs.
Ashlynn Challand finished Saturday with an 89 followed by a 92 from
Hannah Mason, a 96 from Katie Butkovsky, and a 108 from
Haisley Turnquist.
The Bulldogs placed first during the three rounds with a total of 938. Saint Mary's College finished second in the tournament at 949 followed by Hope in third at 965 and Alma in fourth at 1,036.
Adrian will travel to Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida from May 9-12 for the NCAA Tournament at Mission Inn Resort and Club.
