TECUMSEH, Mich. – The Adrian College women's golf team hosted the annual Adrian College Spring Invitational on Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs, once again, set the program record for lowest team score in Adrian College women's golf history. Adrian won the tournament of eight teams with a total score of 306.
Taylor Ross was named the individual champion on Thursday where she finished the day with a 74.
Sara Bevington placed second in the tournament with a 75.
Lauren Reed went on to place third with a score of 77 followed by
Olivia Ohmer who tied for sixth with an 80.
Riley Kleck rounded out the starting five placing ninth with an 81.
Adrian played a second team in the tournament which placed sixth with a 380.
Ashlynn Challand led the way with an 80 to tie for sixth.
Ella Mason shot 86 for the Bulldogs to place 15
th.
Katie Bukovsky finished the day with a 100 followed by
Haisley Turnquist with a 114.
Thursday marked the final competition for the women's golf team before they head to the NCAA Tournament in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida in May. The Bulldogs will open the tournament with a walk-through round and a practice round before the opening round of play scheduled for May 9.
